An authentic metal pot used to fetch and carry water from the British occupation era of Colonial India. I do not recognize the type of metal. Measures at widest point about 13 inches diameter. The mouth is 6 inches diamter outer lip and inside opening is 3 inches. Stands 13 inches high. It is an antique that had been used with it normal wear of dents and dings. Lots of character. Weighs 7.5 lbs. makes a great conversation piece, and a nice flower holder or vase for tall grass. Very unique item.
